The part where this author hunted down a person who wrote a negative review (or was it?) and proudly announced that she found her, her husband and children and her grannies names plus address bc she hired a PI is a little creepy.

How is it even possible for a book with such a lovely cover and an average-okay-almost-good premise to get so many negative reviews? I want to read it just so I can rant along, although I think that considering how old the author was when she wrote the novel, I wouldn't really want to be *that* mean..

The cover looks good. Except.. well, it doesn't. Kind of awesome, but then her leg and arm make it look unreal. :/ I get the whole escape-thing, but mhe. :/ The Matched-end broke my heart. Hope Crossed'll fix it. :)

A Touch of Crimson: A Renegade Angels Novel
Trying to read it, but I can't get into the story that much. Probably because there are so many September releases to be read.. XDSomething there reminded me of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter novels. Just a little and after a few pages not anymore, but the connection between Angels and Vampires is there. (Although in Nalini's books Angels MAKE Vampires whereas in Sylvia Day's books the vampires apparently once were Angels who took human women/mates/whatever. So, here the vampirism is the punishment.)Doesn't sound too bad. I hope that this series is a typical PNR series, where one book's about one couple. I can't stomach the thought of reading yet another series with one main couple as the protagonists in every book right now. *suffers silently and points her finger at Ilona Andrews* *sobs.. 2013.. 2013..*
