I actually wanted to start reading this novel. Then I read a review and wow, things started to went downhill. But then I thought: "Hey, come on. You love to hate books. You love to read bad novels. You Love them. Capital L." But then my other half answered: "Yes, because they are still entertaining. Does this novel sound entertaining to me.. you?" And then I answered: "GIVE IT A TRY!" So, I just gave it a try. And I read the introduction:Long ago, the Old Man gathered together his four favored archangels, Michae, Gabriel, Uriel, and Azrael. He pointed to four stars in the sky that shone brighter than the others. He told the archangels that he wished to reward them for their loyalty and had created for them soul mates. Four perfect female beings - archesses. However, before the archangels could claim their mates, the four archesses were lsot to them and scattered to the wind, beyond their realm and reach. The archangels made the choice to leave their world, journey to Earth, and seek out their mates. For thousands of years, the archangels have searched. But they have not searched alone. For they are not only entities to leave their realm and come to Earth to hunt for the archesses. They were followed by another...New setting: Forest. You can hear some birds. And.. frogs. And you know, all that stuff that makes noises and can be found at places that are.. green and brown. Patricia (that's me!) is peacefully sitting somewhere, probably on a stone. Then the voice from the off: *scroll up, read the Introduction again* Patricia (me!!!) is frowning now. She asks herself, How the heck does that make any sense? No, wait, I'm too busy watching himym so we'll stop this review now and we won't quote several religious leaders to make a point. So now, Bambi's mother is shot, Patricia (that is me, everbody. ME! My name is Patricia!!) is running away, screaming like hell, at the same time thinking: "Green. You should never trust green things unless it's Asian food. And even if it is Asian food, ask if it's still alive. "
