The Gift: 2.5-3It was a typical, entertaining Lynsay Sands story. The hero was the police sheriff from Port Henry, the heroine a new character. He originally didn't know she was a vampire and thought her flirting with him was weird, because he looks much older than she does, but he accepts the mating business very well. They were set up by Marguerite.. ; )Home for the Holidays: 3-3.5This was, compared to The Gift, a very emotional read. Almost every important Night Huntress character was there. I liked the plot and the idea behind it, although I suppose that if Frost'll include the things that were revealed in Home for the Holidays in her novels the readers might be a little confused.
