I tried to drag the read out as long as possible: I consciously tried to really read EVERY SINGLE WORD. Alas, for some reasons I'm done already anyways. Geeh, Nalini, why are you such a good author? You know, the thing with her characters is that even if you can't relate to a 100 percent, you can respect their choices, or accept the way they are portrayed. It's something I really appreciate in UF and PNR novels.. and I think most UF/PNR fans feel similiar. Not sure what to say about the novel itself, though. It was very good, and I bookmarked many scenes. I thought the part about who the Big Bad actually was was a little predictable, but as I've said before, I've read (almost?) every word.. I'm usually already a very attentive reader, but this time I topped it all LOLNeedless to say, I'm very excited about how the overall story arc will continue, seeing as Nalini once again visits Raphael and Elena again in the next installment. (By the way, I liked the way Dmitri and Honor were present in this book from time to time, and the things that were revealed about the other Seven, Raphael, and the worldbuilding in general.) With that, I'll read some novellas before reading Riveted which I'm just as excited for as I was Archangel's Storm. (But no. I will wait until I read it! I will be patient, and not spoil the fun of the time in between two very good novels. I will not. I will not.. I.. Maybe? Oh God. What are you doing to me, world.)
