The Next Always (Thorndike Press Large Print Core Series)

The Next Always - Nora Roberts How do I rate this? The first 30 percent where bad enough to make me put it on hold, but not too bad, seeing as I picked it up again today. So.. 2-2,5 stars. The rest, though? Hmm.. - Comfortable Read- Reasonable Characters- Believable and Relatable Characters- Sometimes Not Fleshed Out Enough Characters- Nice Plot, that wasn't too angsty or anything, but also didn't surprise me. Made me excited sometimes, though. Like.. I knew what would happen, but I wanted to read how it happened.- Three very cool scenes.- Okay Writing- Bullshit Flag Moments: Not as often as in the beginning, but often.I actually made a list with % here and I'm currently calculating XD Okay.. We have a total of 2,25 x 30% + 3,7 x 70% = 3,265So.. Three stars. YAY! ;'D BUT it definitely was one of Roberts better novels, imo. I often have problems with Contemporaries because nothing happens, but this time it felt okay. Not that nothing happened. In every novel something happens, but in many contemps it's just too slow. (and that's probably also why most authors now add some criminals to the mix) But I was in the mood for a slow read, and was okay with the whole reading atmosphere. : )
