It took me six days to finish this novel and it was not cool. It didn't interest me in the slightest, although both characters had so much potential.. Well, I'm also very frustrated about the freaking Goodreads Choice Awards right now, so I will just stop this now. In short:The heroine had no real personality. I basically forgot most of her already. She's the last Shallot, was/is a slave, blah, blah. The type of heroine I dislike.The hero was just blah. He could have been my favorite person in the world and he was just there. That's it. He was just there. The plot was boring.The book was average.I'll read the third book someday, I hope. Who knows. It seems the books are getting better.
