In this episode of The Horny Devil, we have a. a bitter heroine, unable to come because of a trauma, b. a horny doctor/incubus-demon, c. biased humans who are portrayed as the bad guys because they kill demons and other supernatural beings, who in fact were created evil with some minor good sparks (but really, who cares?) and d. an average writing style. Meet Tayla, a Guardian/Demon-Huntress/Buffy in disguise. She's actually a half-demon, which is said in the first 5-10 percent of the novel, although she doesn't know until.. I have no idea when.Meet Eidolon, a demon-remix of Derek Shephard and evil Angel and probably a friend of the author. He's fucking the heroine after about 7 percent of the book, after she's been mind-fucked by his brother and horny as hell. And imagine how shocked he was when he noticed that she didn't come. Obviously that must have something to do with her DNA. Also, when this conflict is later solved - "Tayla, really what happened back then.. Just forget it, because there were good reasons. Exhibit A. He was a demon, they can do this to a person!" she jumps his bon- no wait, they're already having sex. So, anyways. The talk about it for about 3 minutes, him being dead honest, because you wouldn't just say anything to make her shut the heck up and continue fucking you, she absolutely understands that there is no reason why she shouldn't come and after years of not being able, she finally has an orgasm. No, this ain't the plot, but I thought I should mention it. The plot's about people stealing supernatural organs and selling them for some fortunes, backstabbing, not belonging, wanting family.. You know, the typical stuff people throw at you in between the sex-scenes.The whole novel felt .. like it needed an editor. It was.. not tidy. The guys where interesting enough, we had Wraith (Being Tortured Makes You Evil), Shade (Loveable Sex Maniac) who although having sex with many women - and at the same time an almost-relationship with someone called Runa, who'll also be his heroine as it seems - is cursed. Then we have Ky (Husband of Lori (Bitch, Because Of A Spell) and Gem (Overpriviliged Sibling) and Shade's half-sister, who was.. just there. I'm not sure why I didn't like it. Well, no I know very well why. I mean, look at it. It hurts. But it startles me how little I think of this novel when another reviewer, whose reviews I like very much, thought this was actually good pnr.I'll try to read the second novel now, though.Edit. The second novel starts so much worse. Urgh. (Pleasure Unbounds beginning was in fact quite good!)Update. I did a little graphic/family tree-thing: Red: Lovers | Yellow: Family | Blue: UGH | Green: Aegis | Lilac: Angels
