I bought it because I liked the cover. I read it because I liked some reviews. xDAnd thank God I've enjoyed Anna very much. Stephanie Perkins did a very good job with creating a world that's real, but full of this kind of real-life-magic. The atmosphere, the setting and the characters were lovely. Anna is a real girl, not some Barbie and not the overly naive or pessimistic type of personBoth, she and Etienne, are very likeable. When I started the novel I was a little wary because Jill said she didn't like it that much, but I can't agree. IMO the story was captivating, funny, believable and sometimes a little sad. I loved it.I should definitely read more Realistic YA fiction, because otherwise I can't give a justifiable rating. It is a possibly reread worthy type of book, that's only lacked the cherry on top to make it a 5 stars novel.
